Reed regularly serves as a featured speaker, moderator, panelist, and facilitator around AI for Teaching and Learning and other topics connected with the future of teaching, learning, and educational technology,

In the past year, Reed provided college-wide keynotes, leadership talks, and faculty workshops for Minnesota State Colleges (Minneapolis), Triton College (Chicago), Wayne County Community College (Detroit), and Truckee Meadows Community College (Reno).

 At his college, Reed also teaches a faculty development course focused on AI for Teaching & Learning and hosts related workshops.
